Notion as source

At Hiway, users have access to a dedicated section where they can read articles about the platform, accounting, finance, and other relevant topics.

Until now, these articles were created by CSMs in Notion, then integrated into WordPress. This process created delays, required validation steps, and every improvement involved additional development costs.

We improved this by integrating Notion directly into the backend.

There is no longer a middleware layer needed to publish or integrate pages. CSMs can now create a page in Notion, make it public, and the content goes live.

By using Notion as the source of truth, we avoid duplicated content, remove the need to update articles in multiple places, and ensure everyone works from the same version. Since the whole company already uses Notion, all teams have direct access to the same content.

This also makes content creation easier: Claude Code can help draft new articles and search for information, since Notion is already well integrated with Claude.

This is a big win for the company, the users, and the internal teams.
